Love this place, I get great coffee, great service, some of the waiters come to you just to make sure you still good, the management checks up as well, you are welcomed with a smile and amazing service. I have been at this Bootlegger quite a few times over the last few months and they don't disappoint. The food is always fresh and delicious and their drinks/coffees are also great. I prefer this location over others in Cape Town because their service is awesome.

We had the most amazing experience at Bootleggers. There was a change of waitresses and somehow our order was forgotten about. Mistakes happen and they sincerely apologised with a smoothie and waters. Mistakes happen but it’s how you respond. Thanks guys you are doing a fantastic job. We will be back

Excellent service, warm atmosphere and highly professional treatment from the staff (amber)(barista at the time of writing this) I would like to specifically remark on the barista’s coffee production (12 out of 10), a lovely lady by the name of Amber was my waitress and she was absolutely exceptional. i was busy with work and I was not in the best mood at the time , not only did she behave in a professional manner but she managed to get a laugh out of me through sheer personality alone, that kind of energy and work ethic is hard to find in the work place 20 stars to her and this branch Based on this much needed positive experience, I will be sure to send as many people to this branch as possibe. Hi i am a loyal bootlegger customer, but the branch inside canal tends to always have excuses as to why the food takes forever to come to the table, the one waiter told me she can’t understand why everyone comes at the same time, mind you its around lunch time or when there is a rush hour. I asked if there why dont they get more cooks and she gave me the same irrelevant explanation. You have a restaurant that has so many tables but you cant get food out for all the customers in a short i of time. I cant count how many times i was told i wont be able to be seated because the cook wont be able to keep up. My complaint is not complain about the cook, but please hire more help to assist whoever is working in the kitchen. We were literally turned away several times i cant even count. And please tell some of your staff memebers not to go back and forth with customers about the time we want to go to a restaurant and be served in less than a hour. I was a bit annoyed with her attitude. None of the other waiters were ever like this at any bootlegger ive ever been to. Please get more help in the kitchen around breakfast and lunch times
