We had a yummy brekkie and excellent service from our waitress Kayla. She checked in regularly, ensured our orders were correct and made us feel genuinely welcome. It’s always refreshing to be served by someone who takes pride in their work and provides such a positive dining experience. We’ll definitely be back.

I have been popping into Bootlegger Cape Quarter quite often lately and I’m genuinely happy to write this review, as every visit has been a really positive experience. The team’s commitment to great customer service stands out, and there’s always a warm, homely vibe that makes me feel right at home. I’ve tried everything from hearty mains to delicious desserts, and I always leave feeling satisfied. It’s easy to see that everyone takes real pride in what they do. From my visits, it’s clear that the managers lead their teams with a firm but fair hand, and those high standards really show in how dedicated and friendly everyone is. The service always feels sincere and authentic, which I really appreciate. If you have any dietary needs, the staff go out of their way to help and make sure you’re well looked after. I’d especially like to thank Keagen, Ameerah, Dean, and Nafisa for always bringing such warmth and genuine care to their service. It honestly makes all the difference. Thanks again for creating such a welcoming spot and for making every visit so enjoyable. It’s this kind of thoughtful service that sets you apart and makes your café my favourite hotspot workspace.

We used the larger boardroom for a group meeting and it was perfect. Michelle, the waitron, was a coffee angel and gave us such great service again (she's served as before at one of these monthly meetings). Really happy and I can recommend.

Good afternoon, I’d like to leave a glowing review for Nani at the Bootlegger Cape Quarter branch. The morning shift team is our absolute favorite, and Nani is truly the heart of it all. He is dedicated, hardworking, and always goes the extra mile—you can genuinely see he’s the engine that keeps everything moving. Our mornings just aren’t the same without him (and my flat white!). What’s even more impressive is that he remembers exactly how I like my coffee, along with the orders of more than 10 of my colleagues. Nani’s customer service is simply outstanding—friendly, attentive, and consistent. He sets the tone for our day and always makes us feel welcome. He is AWESOME!
