Bootlegger Green Point

We stopped in for an impromptu breakfast. We ordered some iced coffees and some breakfast food such as the pancakes and potato bacon rosti. Food was lovely. A pre-warning that the pancakes are made fresh so takes a little bit of time.

As a huge pancake lover, I simply couldn’t resist trying the Buttermilk Flapjacks & Mascarpone. Absolutely delicious! 🥞 A perfect combination of American-style pancakes and Japanese fluffy pancakes. Incredibly thick, soft and generously served. I added fried bananas on the side and an iced flat white to complete the experience. Portions are enormous, prices surprisingly low compared to Europe, and the quality is excellent. Outstanding value for money. Nothing to complain about – just pure pancake happiness! 😍🇿🇦

I go to Bootleggers in Green Point almost every day (sometimes they are full and I cannot always get a table). The service is great, the waitrons are genuinely friendly, I love the convivial ambiance and of course the product is great. I'd like to give a shoutout to AMY who served me yesterday - she was efficient, kind & caring, always smiling and attentive - Amazing Service! With a smile!

Had such a great experience at Bootlegger Coffee in Green Point! A special shoutout to Santana, who made our visit extra enjoyable. His warm, friendly personality and excellent service really stood out. He was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel well looked after. Great coffee, great atmosphere, and exceptional service from Santana. He’s an absolute asset to the team. We’ll definitely be back!

Went for an impromptu dinner and was immediately welcomed with warmth and hospitality. Amazing service, food and drink. My waitress, Zethu, was friendly, attentive and helpful. I had the best coffee I’ve had in a while and deliciously filling dinner. Table checks by managers are not seen all that often, but the manager on duty, Chrismi, visited all the tables during my time there and with her warm, friendly smile she came up to my table and added another level of friendliness and wonderful hospitality to an already amazing evening. Thank you, Bootlegger for taking an ordinary evening and making it memorable!
