Myself and my friend had an incredibly rainy drive from the West Coast into a rainy Cape Town on Saturday evening and were met at your branch with beaming and smiling faces ready to make our soaking wet lives easier. We had your lager draughts and each indulged in the southern fried chicken burger which was an absolute delight. The butter toast crisp on your brioche buns is INSANE! Thank you for giving us respite in the storm! And a huge shout-out to the manager Chrismi, and all the incredible front and back staff who really gave us the energy to hit Cape Town with a vengeance post meal!

Went for an impromptu dinner and was immediately welcomed with warmth and hospitality. Amazing service, food and drink. My waitress, Zethu, was friendly, attentive and helpful. I had the best coffee I’ve had in a while and deliciously filling dinner. Table checks by managers are not seen all that often, but the manager on duty, Chrismi, visited all the tables during my time there and with her warm, friendly smile she came up to my table and added another level of friendliness and wonderful hospitality to an already amazing evening. Thank you, Bootlegger for taking an ordinary evening and making it memorable!
