We received not only a great customer service, but an excellent customer experience from Nomfundo and her team at Bootleggers Mall of Africa. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, ordered coffee and cake, and they did not rush us. Nomfundo was amazing, she was friendly and went out if her way to provide a really wonderful experience. Charged me R395 instead of R39. Only noticed when I'm home, now I have to go all the way back and sort it out. What is this? Edit: as it was sorted out fairly quickly by the management I have upped the rating but not edited out the initial complaint.

Good food and great coffee! We enjoyed the Macon Egg Box and a Pastrami and cheese with dijon mustard paired with a cappuccino. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The store is quaint so not fit for big groups nevertheless, it is a well laid out store. Macon Egg Box had a great balance of savoury and sweet with the caramelized onions egg and macon balancing each other out perfectly, all between a well toasted bun. Pastrami and cheese was a classic! The cheese pull on this was perfect. However i do feel there could've been a put more pastrami to balance it out a bit better. Dijon mustard was definitely a winner. Coffee from Bootlegger never disappoints! I would suggest a double shot cappuccino for those that can handle it.
