Edit: I'm increasing my review away from a 1/5 starts. Bootleggers have reached out to me from the branch and head office to apologise for the experience and to address the issue.
I can't comment on the food, service or atmosphere of the branch, however I do appreaciate them reaching out and addressing the issue so others don't have the same experience we had.

We were quite dissapointed going to Bootlegger at Drakenstein Sentrum this morning. We were looking for an early coffee on our way home and since Bootleggers opens at 7am, we chose to stop here.
We got here at 07:40. The cafe seemed completely open and staff was blasting loud music. We went in to order coffee, but we were told that the cafe only opens at 8am.
Thus either the staff have no idea when the cafe opens or the opening times listed on Google is wrong.

My Saturday morning after Parkrun hangout. Breakfast is always good and the coffee is always fantastic. Love the new egg buns on the menu 😋
