Met up here with some friends for coffee on Saturday afternoon and was met with a warm reception, heated patio and fast friendly service. My double shot latte was fantastic!

The food was amazing and we are extremely pleased with the quality, but the service was a bit slow and we waited longer than normal. If the resaurant was very busy, that would have been understadable, but that was not the case. Neverthelrss, we will be visiting again.

But the real hero's of my Bootlegger experiences? Abigail Simpson at the Bootlegger Head Office and Damien at the Plattekloof store. After one of my free coffee vouchers mysteriously vanished from the loyalty app, I braced myself for the usual black hole of customer service delays. Instead, and to my astonishment, an email response arrived in under an hour. Abigail took up my query with the kind of attentiveness usually reserved for five-star hotel concierges. She kept me informed at every step - no cut-and-paste replies, no cold shoulder, just clear, professional communication. The voucher was reinstated promptly, and thanks to Abigail, I continue to enjoy Bootlegger’s excellent coffee with my faith fully restored. Damien, too, exceeds in the customer service. On numerous occasions he's offered tastings to items on the menu I wasn't familiar with, and they have now become a part of my list of favourites. In a world full of cafés chasing trends, Bootlegger stands firm on the basics: quality beans, real service, and a coffee that consistently hits the spot.

Had such a great experience this morning at Bootlegger Coffee Company in Plattekloof. A big shoutout to our waitress, Rati, for her amazing service. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The coffee and atmosphere were great, but her positive energy and professionalism really stood out.
