But the real hero's of my Bootlegger experiences? Abigail Simpson at the Bootlegger Head Office and Damien at the Plattekloof store. After one of my free coffee vouchers mysteriously vanished from the loyalty app, I braced myself for the usual black hole of customer service delays. Instead, and to my astonishment, an email response arrived in under an hour. Abigail took up my query with the kind of attentiveness usually reserved for five-star hotel concierges. She kept me informed at every step - no cut-and-paste replies, no cold shoulder, just clear, professional communication. The voucher was reinstated promptly, and thanks to Abigail, I continue to enjoy Bootlegger’s excellent coffee with my faith fully restored. Damien, too, exceeds in customer service. On numerous occasions he's offered tastings to items on the menu I wasn't familiar with, and they have now become a part of my list of favourites. In a world full of cafés chasing trends, Bootlegger stands firm on the basics: quality beans, real service, and a coffee that consistently hits the spot.

I am frequently visiting this store and i would like to make a special mention regarding the service excellence that Damion displays, DAILY!!! he always goes above and beyond to help me and all the other patrons. He is always bubbly, and always checking up on every table. he certainly is an asset to your business. PLEASE DO NOT LET HIM GO!!

Me and partner went over to Bootlegger Plattekloof, and was absolutely amazed at firstly the great waiter we had (Buhle), who amplified the all ready fantastic food and atmosphere of the restaurant.

Met up here with some friends for coffee on Saturday afternoon and was met with a warm reception, heated patio and fast friendly service. My double shot latte was fantastic!
