Great food, great atmosphere, and very kind staff! We enjoyed a lot. Vegetarian and Vegan options are available and clearly marked.

We loved Bootlegger so much that we had breakfast here twice during our trip! Such a beautiful café with a lovely atmosphere, fantastic service and a huge selection of delicious food. There was so much to choose from, and everything we tried was so good. A perfect spot for a relaxed breakfast or coffee. We would definitely visit again! ☕🥐🩷

The two staff members , Prophet and Lubabalo delivers a great service. They are at the small kiosk just outside the aquarium. They are friendly , efficient and warm. The coffee is exceptional! During our stay in Cape Town we went to the kiosk not to the main restaurant, purely for the service the little kiosk staff delivered. Thank you for our great coffees!

A simple question of “how would you like the temperature of the coffee” goes a long way. Thanks Prophet for such great survive

I just had to write something about this Restaurant,yesterday was one of the most amazing experiences i've ever encountered,after spending the day with my sister at the Aquarium,we went to the Bootlegger Restaurant for a brunch.When we arrived there was a lovely lady waiting at the waiter station by the entrance to assist us with a table.She was super friendly and very well mannered,the restaurant's atmosphere was so neat and the exotic smells of different food types.We sat at the deck which had a exquisite sight over the ocean.Our lunch order was Peruvian Chicken with a glass of Robertson white.The lunch was so nice i ordered a takeaway for dinner also.What the staff at restaurant does i cannot put in words,just simply awesome.Would definitely go there again and recommend.

Mr James jr is the best barista at the aquarium bootleggers if you are in need of a good cup of coffee or some sunshine in your cloudy day please make sure that he makes it for you. he also likes to make different shapes and really challenges himself 😁
